Fynbosrust - meet the team

Fynbosrust began with a moment of inspiration. While celebrating a milestone birthday in the Breede River Valley, we fell in love with the untamed beauty of this landscape. That spark led us to this very spot, where we built this cottage to share the peace of the mountains with others.

I am an Afrikaans-speaking "granny" who believes in good old-fashioned values and a hands-on approach to hospitality. While I work full-time in Anton’s busy  practice, I bring a high-energy spirit to everything I do. Together, we treasure the change of scenery from our fast-paced lives, and we love enjoying the "fruit of the valley" in all its forms—whether that is visiting local wine cellars or supporting our wonderful nearby farm stalls.

Based in evergreen Paarl, we stay at the cottage often ourselves to ensure every detail is just right. Our goal is to offer a level of comfort and style that creates a "Wow" feeling from the moment you arrive. We are deeply committed to our guests; we strive to accommodate special requests whenever possible and provide the attentive service needed to make your stay more than just a getaway.
